Confirmation
The purpose of Confirmation Preparation at St. Francis de Sales Parish is to create full and active members of the Catholic Church and St. Francis de Sales Parish. We want our teens to come to know God the Father, become aware of how and where the Holy Spirit is active in their lives and be challenged to BE LIKE JESUS in the world today.
Requirements:
- Be a baptized Catholic who has received First Communion
- Be a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish or have the permission of your pastor
- Attend Mass regularly
- Attend regular PSR classes
- Attend Confirmation Preparation Sessions and actively participate
- Complete monthly service reports and an essay
- Complete a report about your Confirmation Name Saint
- Complete two out of class sessions with your sponsor (December & February)
- Attend the day of retreat
- Attend rehearsal with Sponsor
